Month Four

Well here we go, another month done and dusted!  A couple of weeks I got a shock as I went through and looked at photos of Tiny Charlie. I cannot believe how much he has grown in such a short space of time! I am in love with his size at the moment, he is the perfect size for cuddles. He doesn’t feel so fragile anymore and boy is he strong! His favourite thing to do is stand (with our help, of course!) and his legs are so buff! Haha. When we carry him around he holds onto our shoulders and when we try to put him down he refuses to let go. He has the goofiest smile but it makes me so happy. He is a wonderful little person and being his mum is just amazing

Eat – His eating schedule is now four hourly and runs almost like clockwork. He is formula fed and last week he showed all the signs of starting solids so we bought him a couple of jars of baby food. He really enjoyed pureed carrots and rice but not so keen on the baby apple sauce! The amount of ‘solids’ he eats is very limited though – he’ll have it maybe once or twice in a week. He’s also been a wiggly little one lately which makes feeding a little tricky!

Sleep – Still sleeps in his bassinet in our room. Still wakes up at night, but thankfully only once or twice at 12am and 5am.

Play – Play, play, play! Charlie loves to play. His biggest favourite thing at the moment is tinsel!!!! He’s just transfixed by it! His favourite song is the Itsy Bitsy Spider and he looooves to jump and stand. Learning to grab has opened up a ton of new games to play. He loves his play gym with all the jingly toys!

Clothes – It’s crazy how many different sizes he fits. He wears a variety of nb, 0-3 and 3-6 month sizes!
